Getting started

From a fresh sign-up to a live store: the first fifteen minutes on Reffero.

  • Create your Reffero account

    Sign up as a creator from scratch: phone number, verification, and the profile details Reffero asks for on the way in.

    1. Open the sign-up page and start a creator account.
    2. Enter the phone number you want the account attached to, then confirm the verification code it sends you.
    3. Fill in the profile details Reffero asks for on the way in, including the name and handle your storefront will carry.
    4. Connect the Instagram or TikTok handle you actually post from, so your media kit is built from live follower and engagement numbers instead of a screenshot.
    5. Finish on your dashboard, with an empty storefront waiting for its first product.

  • Claim your creator profile

    Already listed on Reffero? Claim the profile that is waiting for you and take over your storefront.

    1. Find the profile already listed under your name or handle and open it.
    2. Start the claim from that profile rather than creating a second account, so you keep the page brands may already have seen.
    3. Verify the phone number on the account to prove the handover is yours.
    4. Once the claim clears, the storefront and its tracked links are yours to edit.
    5. Set your colors, your banner, and the order your products appear in, the same as on a store built from scratch.

  • Verify your identity (KYC)

    Complete KYC verification as a creator: the documents Reffero needs and how to submit them so your payouts are never held up.

    1. Open KYC verification from your account and read which documents are being asked for before you start photographing anything.
    2. Upload your identity documents, shot flat and in daylight so every corner and every line of text is readable. Most rejections are a blurred edge, not a wrong document.
    3. Add the bank details your NPR payout should land in, and check the account name matches the name on your documents.
    4. Submit and wait for review. This is the one step in the whole setup that waits on someone else rather than on you, so start it early.
    5. Once you are verified, earnings that clear your escrow wallet can be withdrawn to that account.

Working with brands

Browse brand campaigns, apply, sign the contract, and get your posts approved.

  • Join a brand campaign

    Find campaigns from brands, apply with your rate, sign the agreement, and submit your content for approval.

    1. Browse the open campaigns in your niche, or open an invitation a brand has already sent you.
    2. Read the brief properly: what has to be delivered, on what dates, and what fee is on the table.
    3. Apply with your rate, or counter the offer if the brief asks for more than the fee covers. Negotiation happens here, before anything is signed.
    4. Sign the agreement in the app. Fee, deliverables, and dates are locked before you shoot, so nothing can be renegotiated after the reel is up.
    5. Submit your draft for approval, make whatever changes the brand asks for, then publish and add the live link back to the campaign.
    6. The signed agreement, not a follow-up conversation, is what your payment refers back to.

What to have ready before you start

Nothing on this list costs money. Having it beside you turns the whole sequence above into one sitting instead of three.

  • A phone number you can receive a verification code on. It becomes the number attached to the account, so use the one you keep.
  • The Instagram or TikTok handle you actually post from. Your media kit builds itself from those accounts, which is what brands read before they invite you to anything.
  • An identity document and your bank details. KYC review is the one step that waits on someone else, so submitting it early keeps your first payout from queueing behind it.
  • Two or three products you would recommend anyway. A store that opens with things you genuinely use converts better than a full catalogue of things you do not.
