You can remove your Reffero account and everything we hold about you, including anything connected from your Instagram or Facebook account, at any time. This page explains what we hold, how to have it deleted, and how long that takes.
1. What we hold
When you connect a social account to Reffero, we store your profile details (username, profile picture, account type, follower and following counts), your published posts and their performance metrics, and aggregated audience information about your followers such as age ranges and top locations.
We also hold what you gave us directly: your name, email address, phone number, the campaigns you joined, and any content you submitted for those campaigns.
2. Two ways to delete it
Do it yourself
Open the Reffero app and go to Settings, then Connected accounts, and tap Disconnect next to the account you want removed.
This revokes our access immediately. To remove your whole account, choose Settings, then Delete account.
Ask us
Email privacy@reffero.com from the address on your Reffero account, with the subject Delete my data.
Tell us your Reffero account email and the social handle you connected, so we can find the right records.
3. What happens next
Disconnecting a social account revokes our access straight away. We stop receiving any further data from Instagram or Facebook the moment you do it.
We then permanently delete everything we received from Meta about that account, along with your Reffero profile, from our live systems and our backups within 30 days. If you emailed us instead, we confirm in writing once it is done.
4. What we have to keep
If Reffero has paid you for a campaign, Nepali tax and company law requires us to retain the financial record of that payment: the invoice, the contract, and the amount. We keep only what the law requires, for only as long as it requires, and we do not use it for anything else.
This never includes data we received from Instagram or Facebook. That is deleted in full.
5. Questions
Write to privacy@reffero.com and a person will reply. You can also read our Privacy Policy for the full picture of how we handle your information.
